Splitgate 2 – Seasonal Battle Pass Assets
Challenge:
Each season needed a way to present the full battle pass in a way that felt polished, easy to understand, and aligned with the Splitgate 2 universe. The solution also had to speed up production for future updates.
Approach:
— Created a diverse set of fictional sci-fi brands across sectors like tech, energy, consumer goods, medical, and esports
— Designed both logos and ad executions that ranged from corporate-clean to dystopian or humorous
— Built fake ads with clear in-world tone, blending satire and functional worldbuilding
— Worked with the environment art team to place and scale ads contextually across maps
— Matched ad types to the tone of each map — militarized brands in industrial zones, lighter brands in more neutral or commercial environments
— Ensured each piece worked both as environmental storytelling and visual design without disrupting gameplay clarity
Solution:
The result is a rich ecosystem of sci-fi lore brands that feel native to the Splitgate universe. From fake tech startups to shady energy conglomerates to esports sponsors, each brand adds texture to the world. Players see these ads scattered across maps — on digital screens, billboards, walls, and terminals — reinforcing a sense of place and time.
